Winning the Nobel Prize ran in Marie Curie’s family. Her daughter, Irène, won the Nobel Prize for chemistry with her husband, Frederic Joliot-Curie, in 1935. Marie’s son-in-law, Henry Labouisse, who married Curie’s younger daughter, Ève, also received a Nobel Prize for Peace through UNICEF.
