We, GimmeMore GmbH (hereinafter referred to as “GM”), are the operator of the web pages available at gimmemore.com, quizdelivery.com, realquizhero.com and the free services offered on the site.

We are the responsible entity for collecting, processing and using personal details as defined by the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). The provisions of the Telemedia Act (TMG) also apply as well as further relevant statutory regulations relating to data protection.

The protection of your personal data collected, processed and used when you visit our website is a matter of great concern to us.

Your details will be protected in compliance with statutory regulations. Below you will find information on what details are recorded when you visit our website and how they are used:

1. Collection, storage and use of your personal data

1.1 When you visit our website and use the free services offered on our web pages, our servers will temporarily save every request in a logfile. The following data are registered and stored by us without any involvement from you:

  • the IP address of the requesting PC;
  • the date and time of access;
  • the name and URL of the file called up;
  • the website from which the file is accessed;
  • the operating system of your PC and the browser you are using;
  • the name of your internet access provider

These data are collected and processed with the aim of enabling our website to be used (connecting to it), guaranteeing long-term system security and stability, enabling the network infrastructure to be administered from a technical viewpoint and our services to be optimised; they are also used for internal, statistical purposes.

Your IP address will only be evaluated in the event of attacks on our network infrastructure as well as for statistical purposes.

In addition, we use cookies and web analysis services when people visit our website. See Clauses 3 and 4 of this data protection declaration for this.

1.2 If you register on our website and/or register to take part in sweepstakes on our website, we will collect the following data:

  • Surname, first name
  • Address:
  • Email address
  • Date of birth

These data are collected, stored and used to enable us to offer certain functions in our service (rankings, high score rankings, user competitions, etc.) and for statistical purposes. In the case of sweepstakes, your data are also collected, stored and processed to guarantee the services required to run the sweepstakes/raffle; these services are in some cases assigned to third parties. We will pass on your personal data for advertising and marketing purposes, in particular for market research and to draw up customer profiles, to suppliers of further offers and services as well as to service providers operating in this sphere if you have given your explicit consent for such activity at the appropriate point when registering for our services and/or sweepstakes.

If you have given your explicit consent, we will also collect and use your e-mail address to send you our regular newsletter to the e-mail address specified and to provide you with promotional information. You can cancel the newsletter at any time by clicking on a link at the end of it.

Your personal data will not be passed to third parties for any other purposes.

1.3 Registration with Facebook Connect

We also offer you the chance to register for our service with the Facebook Connect plug-in which is provided by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304 USA (“Facebook”). Further registration is therefore not possible. To register, you will be transferred to the Facebook page where you can log in with your user data. This will create a link between your Facebook profile and our service. As a result of the link, Facebook Inc. will automatically transfer the following information: e-mail address, date of birth, name, and gender. Of these data, we only use your name, your e-mail address, your date of birth, and gender. 2. Objection

You can object to the use and transmission of your personal data at any time. To do so, please refer to our contact address in Clause 6.

3. Cookies / Google Adsense / ID5 / LiveRamp

3.1 Cookies in general

Cookies can make it easier, more pleasant and more practical to use our website during your visit. Cookies are alphanumeric information files which your web browser automatically saves to your computer’s hard drive when you visit our website.

For example, we use cookies to enable us to identify you as a user. Personal details are not collected through the use of cookies.

Most browsers accept cookies without any need for the explicit agreement of the user visiting the website. However, your browser can be set in such a way that no cookies are stored on your computer or you are notified of any new cookies.

The deactivation of cookies may mean that not all functions of our website are usable.

3.2 Google AdSense

Our website uses Google AdSense, a service for including Google advertisements. Google AdSense also uses cookies as well as so-called web beacons (invisible graphic images). These web beacons enable information such as the visitor traffic to our offering to be evaluated. The information generated by cookies and web beacons on the use of our website (including the IP addresses of users) and the delivery of advertising formats is transmitted to a Google server in USA and stored there. This information can be passed on by Google to its contractual partners. However, Google will not combine your IP address with other details stored about you. You can also deactivate Adsense cookies as described above. Deactivating Adsense cookies may mean that you are not able to use all the functions of our website. By using this website you hereby agree that Google may process the data collected about you in the manner described above and for the aforementioned purpose.

3.3 ID5

When you visit or enter your email address (either to log in, to sign up for a newsletter, or otherwise) on our website, we may share personal data or other information that we collect from you, such as your email (in hashed, pseudonymous form), IP address, and/or information about your browser or operating system with ID5 and its group companies, acting as controllers. ID5 uses this information to create an ID for the purpose of recognising you on your devices. This ID does not contain any of your identifiable personal data. We may place this ID in our first-party cookie or use an ID5 cookie and allow it to be used for online and cross-channel advertising. This ID may be shared by us or on our behalf with our advertising partners and other third-party advertising companies globally for the purpose of enabling interest-based content and/or targeted advertising throughout your online experience (e.g. web, email, connected devices, in-app, etc). 3.4 LiveRamp

When you enter your email address on our website (either to log in, or to sign up to a newsletter, or similar) or when you use our app, we may share personal data or other information that we collect from you, such as your email (in hashed, pseudonymous form), mobile advertising identifier, IP address, or information about your browser or operating system, with our partner LiveRamp and its group companies, acting as joint controllers. LiveRamp uses this information to create an online identification code for the purpose of recognising you on your devices. This code does not contain any of your identifiable personal data and will not be used by LiveRamp to re-identify you. We place this code in our first party cookie or a LiveRamp cookie and allow it to be used for online and cross-channel advertising. It may be shared with our advertising partners and other third party advertising companies globally for the purpose of enabling interest-based content or targeted advertising throughout your online experience (e.g. web, email, connected devices, and in-app, etc). 4. Web analysis services

We use the web analysis service, Google Analytics, for the purpose of designing and continually optimising our pages in order to meet requirements. Pseudonymised user profiles are created in this connection and cookies used (see Clause 3). The information generated by the cookie on your use of this website such as

  • browser type/version;
  • operating system used;
  • referrer URL (site previously visited);
  • host name of the PC accessing the content (IP address);
  • time of server request

is transmitted to servers in USA and stored there. The information is used to evaluate use of the website, to compile reports on website activities and to provide further services linked to use of the website and internet usage for the purposes of market research and to help us design these web pages to meet requirements. Google may also transmit this information to third parties if this is a statutory requirement or if third parties process the data on Google’s behalf.

On no account will the IP address be linked to other details relating to the user. The IP addresses are anonymised making it impossible to identify their users (IP masking).

The user can prevent the installation of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in his browser software (see Clause 3); however please note that in this case it may not be possible to use the full functionality of our website.

5. Social networks

You will also find so-called “social plug-ins” on our website. These are functions of the particular social network through which you can, for example, share content from our offering with your friends on social media or recommend such content to them.

5.4 Instagram

We use plug-ins from the social network Instagram which is operated by Instagram, LLC Instagram Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA (“Instagram”). The browser will then not send any cookies to the server in the case of content embedded by other suppliers. However, with this setting it is possible that other cross-domain functions also will not work besides the plug-ins.

6. Information, rectification, correction and deletion of data

You have a right of information with regard to the personal data stored about you and the right to correct false data as well as to block and delete them. To obtain information on your personal data, to ask for incorrect data to be corrected or blocked or deleted as well as for more detailed questions on the use of your personal data, please contact:
