Your brain is remarkable at making sense of the world around you at lightning speed, however, it often relies on memory to accomplish this feat. One of the oldest illusions of all time was described by Aristotle over 2,000 years ago and you can still do it yourself! Cross two adjacent fingers and then touch an object – like a spoon or something – and this’ll create the illusion that you’re touching two objects instead of one!
