Stare at our fat little fishy on the left-hand side for about 30 seconds, making sure to focus on his yellow stripes. Then, after you’re finished, quickly look into the fishbowl on the right and see if he appears!
Similar to the negative images from before, once your eyes focus on the vibrant colors of the fish, an imprint of these colors is left behind – like when you stare at a bright light or the sun (don’t do that). The imprint of these colors remains and if you look at a lighter surface, the image from before is often still visible. And, once again, the longer you stare the more vibrant it appears.
