Did you know that English is completely without guidance? It’s the only major language in the world that doesn’t have an organization guiding it. The French have the Académie Française, Spanish has Real Academia Española and German has the Rat für Deutsche Rechtschreibung. These organizations are responsible for controlling the evolution of their respective language in terms of usage, vocabulary, and grammar. English, however, well, we just make it up as we go along.
